This is a one-off sculpture, handmade by Natalie Rosin in her Sydney studio.
The 'montage' series of ceramic hand painted sculptures are an exercise in composition, colour blocking and the way in which combined, these themes can distort and alter a three dimensional object depending on the angle of view. How different each object appears when rotated 90 degrees. Each sculpture is a montage of shapes and a celebration of colours, expressing their relationships with shadow and light.
